PRACTICAL

For this digital collage, we were given 14 visuals to work with. The collage should be made in Adobe Photoshop. Similar to the previous week's physical collage, we had to come up with 3 compositions before deciding on the final collage.

Following some feedback, I was told I could pick between composition #2 and #3. I decided to go with composition #3 as my final digital collage, as I felt it was the most interesting one.

REFLECTION

Though I’m happy with how my collages turned out, I feel that they’re a bit too simple. The 14 given images had little to no correlation to one another, so it was entirely up to me to create a sense of cohesion and meaning. I didn’t want to just throw random visuals together and have it look messy, so I tried to keep the composition clean. Still, I think with more exploration and stronger visual connections, the outcome could’ve been better and more interesting.
