PRACTICAL
Figure 1.1 Process #10, Week 13 (16/12/2025)
This week, I continued with the editing by first importing the brain and using the quick selection tool to mask it out.
Figure 1.3 Process #12, Week 13 (16/12/2025)
After that, I imported the hand with the strings in and flipped it horizontally, then adjusted the placement and masked it out the same way as the brain.

Once masked, I used the liquify tool and dragged the strings down to make them longer. This made the background appear again, so I cleaned it up using the eraser tool.
Figure 1.5 Process #14, Week 13 (16/12/2025)
I added a red layer with a hard light blending mode and lowered opacity on the brain to make it pink.

Then, I coloured in my irises with the same red colour and did the same thing as the brain, but made kept the opacity higher.

In a seperate file, I added in all the eyes and cropped them out using the pen tool and clipping masks.

I then applied the same black and white grainy threshold effect to them and added the red colour to their irises to match my own.

Once that was done, I copied and pasted them into the poster and made adjustments to the positioning of each eye. I thought the plain black and white clashed with the hand, so I added a very faint red hue to them.

REFLECTION
For this week, I just continued working on the second half of the poster by adding more elements to develop the overall composition. The process felt smoother than the previous week since I was already familiar with the effects I tried to add. I also made some adjustments along the way to ensure the poster communicated the message more clearly.
